This game between Lewis and Clark and Gonzaga Prep was selected as the annual Shrine Game. The field was wet and muddy at game time, but that did not slow down the explosive LC offense, and the defense held its own as well. Winning this game 7 games into the season secured the Spokane City League Championship for LC, and City League records continued to be broken.

*Following this game, the LC Tigers remained #1 in the state rankings, but Renton was putting the pressure on as they also continued with an undefeated season.
